Dr. Kiran C. Patel Elementary School is a Hillsborough County Public Charter School of Choice. We are a not-for-profit independent charter school.
We are currently seeking talented and passionate individuals with teaching experience to join our faculty for the 2026-27 school year as a small group teacher for our ESE and Tier 3 learning groups. You will need to be experienced in creating engaging lessons and assessments to progress monitor your students progress. You be working in a modern, well-equipped K-5 school that supports and encourages all staff and students. As a highly effective teacher, you'll be responsible for providing a fun and engaging environment for students, but also delivering information that meets the needs of the students who are engaged and interested. We are focused on the whole child with an emphasis on project-based learning and social emotional learning.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with parents and school staff.
- Create lesson plans that are aligned with the school curriculum, including project-based learning and social emotional learning, while meeting the needs of your students' and student's IEP goals.
- Teach lessons in accordance with Florida B.E.S.T. Standards.
- Monitor student progress and work effectively with students and parents to ensure student success.
- Follow up on student work, progress and skill building
- Participate on the Problem Solving Leadership Team
**ESE Certification not required, but highly encouraged. If not currently obtained, may be asked to agree to add certification to FLDOE Teacher Certification.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $47,500.00 - $67,000.00 per year
