Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Host/Server to join our team at a vibrant restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Seat guests and manage reservations efficiently
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the Spoton POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Also responsible for opening and closing duties to make sure restaurant is ready to receive gusts.
Experience
Required:
- Experience in guest services or restaurant environment preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with basic math for cash handling
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of food preparation and culinary practices
- Strong guest relations skills
- Previous experience with Spoton POS system
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $2.13 - $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
