Columbia Memorial Hospital (Hudson, NY) seeks Medical Technologists. Perform
routine and STAT testing of patient specimens, according to laboratory
procedures, in order to ensure timely and accurate results to clients and
telephone emergency test results to physicians and nurses. Responsible for
performing, documenting and interpreting Quality Control, adhering to
established Laboratory procedures to ensure validity of all test results.
Perform and document routine preventative maintenance of all technical
equipment, troubleshooting all equipment, as needed, with documentation to
ensure accurate test results.
Requirements: Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in Medical/Clinical
Laboratory Technology, Medical/Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
One (1) year experience working as Clinical Laboratory Technologist/Medical
Technologist or similar occupation. New York State Clinical Laboratory
