Silver Star Electric is a growing electrical and solar contractor in Pleasant Grove, Utah. We are hiring a hybrid Project Manager / Sales / Electrician to support field operations, manage projects, and help grow our customer base. This role is ideal for advanced apprentices who want broader responsibility beyond pure installation work.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals currently in their 3rd or 4th year of an approved electrical apprenticeship program. Preference is given to candidates who also bring sales experience and/or project management experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation, troubleshooting, and service work under appropriate supervision while advancing toward journeyman status.
- Coordinate day-to-day project execution: schedule crews, order materials, track progress in Knowify, complete paperwork, and ensure quality and code compliance.
- Supervise and mentor apprentices on assigned projects.
- Support sales efforts: generate leads, prepare estimates/proposals, present solutions to residential and light commercial customers, and help close work.
- Maintain strong communication with customers, Shift Leads, Operations Manager, and the shop.

Compensation & Benefits
Pay range: $23 – $30 per hour, based on knowledge, experience, and demonstrated sales/project management ability.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in and progressing through the 3rd or 4th year of an approved Utah electrical apprenticeship program.
- Active (or ability to promptly obtain) Utah Apprentice Electrician registration/license through DOPL.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong electrical knowledge appropriate to year level and commitment to safe, high-quality work.
- Preferred: Prior sales experience and/or project management experience.
- Ability to work a typical 4×10 schedule with flexibility for job-site needs.
- Professional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
