Host/Hostess – Stonebridge Country Club (Aurora, IL)
Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | Flexible Hours (Evenings)
Stonebridge Country Club is looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional Host/Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team. As the first person our members and guests see when they arrive, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.
With many of our high school and college employees returning to school, we're looking for someone who can provide consistency and reliability during our dinner service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service.
Schedule
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Typical shift: 4:30 PM – 9:00 PM (often earlier depending on business levels)
- Flexible scheduling available
Responsibilities
- Welcome members and guests with a warm, friendly greeting.
- Manage reservations and walk-in seating.
- Maintain fair server rotation and accurate cover counts.
- Answer phone calls and assist with dining reservations.
- Keep the host stand clean, organized, and stocked.
- Assist with takeout orders when needed.
- Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Help create a professional, welcoming atmosphere for our members.
What We're Looking For

- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Restaurant or host experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.
- Must be available to work evenings Tuesday through Saturday.
