Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and have experience in managing a book of clients.
Duties
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a book of clients. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing monthly and/or quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Maintain accurate workpapers to support financial statement balances.
- Provide support staff (bookkeeping team) with documents and instruction to help complete work related to your clients, such a bank reconciliations, data entry, and basic journal entries.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Sage accounting software for various accounting functions.
- Complete special projects related to your clients throughout the year. For example, 1099 filings, personal property tax filings, workers comp audits, and miscellaneous reporting requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
- Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping and understanding of debits and credits.
- Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations accurately and efficiently.
- Proficient in using QuickBooks Online; Sage accounting software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
