Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Location: South Nashville, Antioch, La Vergne, Smyrna, TN
Hours: Full-time, 30–40 hours per week
Leaps and Bounds ABA is a BCBA-owned, home- and school-based ABA provider serving children on the autism spectrum across Middle Tennessee. As a BCBA-owned company, we understand the importance of having a reliable and consistent schedule. That is why we provide full-time RBTs with a guaranteed minimum number of hours after completion of their initial probationary period. We also value long-term team members and offer the opportunity to transition into a salaried RBT position after 12 months of employment with us.
As an RBT at Leaps and Bounds ABA, you will be part of a close-knit team making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism. You will receive comprehensive training, frequent in-person BCBA supervision, and ongoing support to help you grow and succeed in your role.

What You’ll Do
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children diagnosed with autism in home, school, and community settings
- Implement treatment goals and behavior intervention plans created by your supervising BCBA
- Accurately collect and record data using our electronic data collection system
- Document daily progress notes after each session
- Collaborate with parents, supervisors, teachers, and other team members
- Participate in ongoing staff training and team meetings
- Help create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for clients
Who We’re Looking For

RBT certification is preferred. If you do not yet have your RBT certification, we can help you obtain it.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or associate degree required
- RBT certification preferred
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be available to work after-school sessions 3–5 days per week
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, specifically autism spectrum disorder, is highly preferred
- CPR certification preferred
- Safety Care or CPI training preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to engage in physical activities such as running, jumping, playing, sitting on the floor, getting up and down from the floor, and standing for extended periods of time
