Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents in assisted living and long-term care settings. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring that residents' rights are upheld while fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and document patients' health status, reporting any changes to administrative staff as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to resident rights and maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, particularly those with autism or other developmental challenges.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by following proper hygiene practices and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Engage residents in recreational activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Skills
- Strong understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding them.
- Experience in providing care within in-home care, assisted living or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and basic medical terminology.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals while accommodating dietary restrictions.
- Compassionate attitude towards working with individuals with autism or similar conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating independence when required.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
