Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness and availability for food preparation and service
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a tidy and welcoming environment for guests
- Support food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients under supervision
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by regularly cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas in accordance with health regulations
- Help with catering setups and banquet events by organizing supplies and ensuring timely service support
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Familiarity with basic kitchen tasks such as bussing, cleaning, or food handling is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently
