Daycare Teacher
Pay: $14.00 per hour

Position Summary
The Daycare Teacher is responsible for providing quality care and age-appropriate educational experiences while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates effectively with families, and thrives in a collaborative team setting.
Responsibilities
- Create a warm, safe, and positive learning environment.
- Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities.
- Support children's cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom.
- Follow daily schedules, including meals, naps, outdoor play, and learning activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Observe and document children's progress and communicate updates with families.
- Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies.
- Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, and other daily care routines as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous childcare or daycare experience preferred.
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or related certifications are a plus.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, patient, nurturing, and dependable.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.

- 8-hour shift
- Monday–Friday

Experience
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
- Early Childhood Education: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
