We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team . Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding repairs and perform residential painting tasks as needed to maintain facility appearance and integrity.
- Utilize MaintX to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule upcoming tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and electrical wiring diagrams for accurate repairs.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including coordinating with contractors or other team members when necessary.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by communicating effectively with team members and supporting manufacturing operations seamlessly.
- Lead or support safety initiatives by adhering to protocols, conducting safety inspections, and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various equipment types.
- Electrical experience including working with schematics, wiring, motors, relays, and PLCs.
- Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in welding techniques suitable for industrial repairs.
- Experience with residential painting is a plus for facility upkeep tasks.
- Supervising or leadership experience demonstrating the ability to guide team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork.
- Proficiency using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
