- Must have current California Electrical Journeyman’s Certificate
Job Type: Full time Per Contract
Basic Pay: $100,000-$130,000 annually, plus fringe benefits
- Minimum 5+ years of supervisory and project management experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft project management software
- Location is Los Angeles Airport, Prefer candidate residing within 30 miles radius
- Schedule work to staff, assign duties and supervise the electrical team members
- Review work requests, determine cost and staffing requirements, set priorities
- Develop and administer company rules, regulations and policies
- Ensures the health and safety of assigned employees in accordance with OSHA Requirements
- Monitor and Inspect work in progress to assure compliance with applicable codes, standards and quality assurance procedures. Inspect completed work before the next phase begins.
- Monitor performance of each assigned personnel and conduct performance reviews as required
- Negotiate and order materials from vendors and equipment rental companies
- Perform daily general maintenance duties such as preventive maintenance, Conduct safety meetings with workers and attend to troubleshooting calls and emergency maintenance as needed
- Monitor budget expenditures and implement cost control strategies
- Oversee and participate in electrical staff recruitment.
Job Requirements:
- Journeyman's license
- Prefer Bachelor's degree in related field or qualifying experience can be substituted
- Thorough knowledge of commercial electrical systems, maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of labor relations and general administration
- Knowledge of recordkeeping, basic accounting and excellent in Microsoft word and excel software. Prefer working knowledge of Project management software.
- OSHA 30 Safety Standards certification required (can be obtained after hire)
- Strong inter-personal communication skills along with the ability to interact with all levels of management
- Able to walk or climb structural steel, climb ladders, ability to work up to 35 feet height level on occasion. Able to work in all weather conditions.
- Provide excellent communication skills written and verbal.
- Must possess and maintain satisfactory driving record.
- Will require security clearance
