The Opportunity
We're looking for a Business Operations Manager to help build the operating system of our company.
This is not a traditional operations role.
You'll work across business operations, digital systems, AI workflows, and project execution to help design how information flows through the company and how work gets done.
You'll collaborate closely with company leadership, field operations, finance, and our enterprise software and AI partner as we build next-generation asset management and virtual power plant (VPP) software.

What You'll Own
- Design, document, and continuously improve business processes and operational workflows.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Help establish project management processes, reporting, and operational cadence.
- Own and continuously improve our operational software platforms, including asset management, work order management, project management, and document management systems.
- Work closely with our field team to ensure software and operational processes support real-world execution.
- Collaborate with our enterprise software and AI partner to define requirements, test new functionality, and improve user experience as we build our next-generation asset management platform.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve productivity and reduce manual work.
- Organize, structure, and integrate operational data across the business.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting that improve visibility and decision-making.
- Help build scalable systems that enable Dots Energy to grow.
What We're Looking For
Seasoned experience in the energy industry is a huge plus but more importantly we are looking for someone who enjoys building systems, solving operational problems, and leveraging technology to improve how organizations work.
You may have experience in areas such as:
- Business Operations
- Operations Systems
- Process Improvement
- Project Management
- Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Data Integration
- AI & Workflow Automation
- Asset or Work Order Management Systems
- Product or Platform Operations
Experience implementing or improving operational software platforms is a plus.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is:
