Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Groomer/Manager to lead our pet grooming team with enthusiasm and expertise. Responsibilities
- Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing for a variety of dog breeds and other small animals.
- Manage daily operations of the grooming salon, ensuring efficient scheduling, cleanliness, and safety protocols are maintained.
- Lead, motivate, and train grooming staff to deliver outstanding pet care and customer service.
- Handle animal restraint safely during grooming procedures, utilizing proper techniques learned from veterinary or animal handling experience.
- Assist with pet care tasks such as feeding, administering medications if needed, and monitoring animal behavior for signs of distress or illness.
- Maintain detailed records of each pet’s grooming history, health considerations, and special instructions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, breed standards, and aftercare advice.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a professional groomer with a strong portfolio of grooming styles and techniques.
- Knowledge of dog training principles and veterinary experience related to animal health is highly desirable.
- Skilled in dog handling, animal restraint, and pet sitting to ensure safety for pets and staff alike.
- Background in veterinary technician or assistant roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with animal care protocols.
- Ability to lift heavy objects such as equipment or large animals safely and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters trust and loyalty.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
