Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency.
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for staff and guests.
- Follow proper sanitation procedures during cleaning tasks to promote health and safety standards.
- Assist with janitorial duties including waste disposal, window cleaning, and detailed custodial tasks to keep all areas spotless.
- Provide friendly customer service by responding promptly to guest or resident requests and addressing any concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper cleaning procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with laundry operations and handling various cleaning supplies is a plus.
