Overview
Cherry Creek Country Club is looking for a Spa Front Desk Coordinator that is a Licensed Barber/Stylist. This position is for a seasoned stylist that feels comfortable with men’s, kids & ladies’ cuts (color is not a requirement). This position will be divided between front desk work and hair services. The position is Wednesday through Sunday and will provide steady income and additional commission-based pay. Hourly Pay $20 (30-40hr per week), 20% Commission & 100% gratuity.
Front Desk Coordinator
- Fielding questions by Membership in a professional and timely manner. Comments and concerns should be directed to the appropriate manager or department
- Answer the phone with a warm greeting and transfer calls to appropriate departments
- Answering Spa forward calls and assist in making and canceling appointment times
- Receive and sign for deliveries and packages
- Know details regarding Club events while also assisting in promoting the spa
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
- Check out appointments and products located in the spa
- Assist with Spa & Fitness Center Laundry
- Assist with keeping Spa & Locker Rooms Organized and Tidy
- Assist with Inventory Checks
- Assist with ordering backbar items
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business
Stylist Responsibilities
- Provide a wide range of barbering services, including haircuts, trims, and straight razor shaves
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend styles that suit their needs
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products
- Manage appointments and maintain punctuality
Qualifications
- Valid barber license/certification (as required by state regulations)
- E & O Insurance
- Strong knowledge of modern and classic haircutting techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality service
Physical Requirements
- Frequently sitting with some walking and standing.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
- Occasionally lifts/carries up to 15 lbs.
- Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Walking and/or standing for duration of shift.
