Valley Vista Senior living, is dedicated to providing high-quality care for our elderly residents and related dementias. As a Caregiver at Valley Vista, your role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care Assistance: Aid residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing, grooming, and feeding, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
- Mobility Support: Assist residents with mobility, including walking and transferring, to promote their physical well-being.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed, adhering to established protocols and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Housekeeping Duties: Maintain cleanliness in residents' living spaces, including making beds, cleaning rooms, and ensuring a safe environment.
- Engagement in Activities: Participate in and encourage resident involvement in scheduled activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a warm and caring environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Prior experience in caregiving, especially with elderly individuals or those with dementia, is preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting residents with mobility.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in caregiving or healthcare
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
