Job Summary
The Horn is Nashville’s home for authentic Somali chai and sambusas. Since 2015, we’ve been serving bold flavors and warm hospitality from our Nashville locations. We’re a small, tight-knit team that takes pride in quality, consistency, and culture.
What You’ll Do
- Daily kitchen prep (chopping, portioning, prepping fillings and ingredients)
- Folding and assembling sambusas to The Horn’s standard
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen stations, equipment, and workspace
- Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Supporting the kitchen team as needed during service
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Previous kitchen or food prep experience is a plus, willing to train the right person
- Attention to detail, especially with prep consistency
- Team player with a positive attitude
Schedule
- Full-time (35 to 40 hrs/week)
- Some weekend availability required
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
