Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment, including construction machinery, trucks, and industrial vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our operations across various sectors. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on construction machinery, farm equipment, heavy trucks, forklifts, excavators, cranes, and other industrial equipment.
- Repair and overhaul diesel engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, steering systems, HVAC systems, and electrical wiring to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards.
- Fabricate parts or modify existing components using welding and hand tools to meet specific operational needs or repair requirements.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently by utilizing detailed schematics and troubleshooting guides to minimize downtime.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely when replacing or installing large components or assemblies.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation of repairs performed for compliance and future reference.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with dealership experience highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including construction machinery maintenance and automotive diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and other heavy-duty vehicles or machinery.
- Proficiency in electrical diagnostics including electrical systems troubleshooting and soldering techniques.
- Familiarity with schematics for complex systems such as hydraulics, HVAC units, air brake systems, and power tools used in repairs.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently during maintenance procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and clients alike.

Pay: $31.24 - $37.62 per hour
