Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle operations with enthusiasm and strategic vision. Your expertise in automotive sales, negotiation, and dealership management will ensure our used car department exceeds targets while providing exceptional service. Responsibilities
- Lead the used car sales team by setting clear goals, coaching on sales techniques, and fostering a high-energy environment focused on achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Manage the entire used vehicle inventory, including procurement, pricing strategies, and inventory control to maximize profitability.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service, upselling high-end vehicles, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the buying process.
- Oversee the negotiation of deals, financing options, and trade-in evaluations to close sales efficiently while maintaining dealership standards.
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems to track leads, manage the sales pipeline, and follow up with prospects consistently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive industry sales management or dealership operations with a focus on used cars.
- Strong background in outside sales, B2B sales, deal closing, and upselling premium vehicles.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with outstanding communication abilities and phone etiquette.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable for client communication in diverse markets.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets through effective inventory management and retail math skills.
- Experience with automotive financing options, CRM software, inventory control systems, and retail sales processes.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
