Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Shop Helper to keep our auto body shop running smoothly. This role is a mix of shop maintenance, parts organization, and hands-on light vehicle repairs. Responsibilities
- Light Repairs: Perform basic component replacements, including changing headlight/taillight, bumper swaps, swapping side mirrors, and replacing minor trim pieces.
- Cleaning Cars: pre and post repair washing of cars. May include doing pre and post scans as well
- Debris & Waste Hauling: Load, transport, and properly dispose of shop trash, scrap metal, and damaged car parts at the local dump.
- Vehicle Logistics: Safely move customer and shop vehicles around our lot and park them in designated repair bays.
- Shuttle Service: Shuttle customers to and from body shop.
- Parts Management: Receive, unbox, and check in arriving parts to ensure accuracy against repair orders.
- Shop Upkeep: Keep the shop floor clean, safe, and organized by sweeping, emptying trash bins, and resetting tools.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record (required for moving cars and dump runs).
- Experience handling basic hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and handle physical outdoor labor.
- Comfortable driving a truck to the disposal site is a major plus.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
