Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bilingual Line Leader to join our cosmetic production team. The Line Leader will oversee and coordinate daily operations on the production line, managing a team of up to 15 employees. This role is critical in ensuring production goals are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead up to 15 production line employees.
- Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide on-the-job training.
- Ensure production schedules are met while upholding product quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Monitor equipment operation, report issues, and assist with troubleshooting.
- Communicate production updates, issues, and improvements to supervisors and management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Must be reliable and punctual
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is REQUIRED.
- Experience supervising the daily operations of 15+ production line employees.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to use ERP systems (such as Webtools and/or SAP) for data entry and reporting
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or cosmetic production environment preferred.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly desired.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
- Supervise daily operations on the assembly line to ensure production goals are met.
- Train and mentor team members on proper assembly techniques and safety protocols.
- Monitor workflow and make adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and resolve any issues that arise during production.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed for material handling.
Skills
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment, with a strong understanding of assembly line processes.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other equipment relevant to manufacturing operations.
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing maintenance tasks.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations is a plus, particularly in material handling and inventory management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to ensure high-quality output.
