Corporate Engineering is responsible for developing scope, equipment selection, functionality, implementation, and validation of CAPEX projects requiring technical advice and knowledge. In coordination with Customer requirements and business outlook.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting and assisting plant engineering teams on projects involving the installation of complex equipment, piping systems, electrical systems, utilities, control, packaging systems.
- Utilize best practice engineering methods and provide expert technical guidance for engineering initiatives
- Facilitates and manages projects costs in coordination with local plant engineering teams for CAPEX projects
- Ensure validation with all process authority and (FDA) governmental requirements of all new or modified equipment
- Support plant/corporate teams on Safety and initiatives with OSHA regulations and compliance
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field or relevant work experience
- 6-10 years’ experience leading projects and SME on installations and new technologies (Food Manufacturing/packaging/GMP environments)
- Expert level of experience in engineering technology(process/packaging/aseptic/clean fill/HTST)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes - food packaging/processing technology, preferred
Skills and Competencies:
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD/other design/layout works.
- Intermediate knowledge of Control network language/SCADA/PLC/OT-IT interface.
- Must have excellent facilitation skills, project management skills, and drive for results
- Superior problem-solving skills for long term issue resolution

Travel requirement of 25-50% (predominately to plant locations of CA and WI)(Project Dependent)
