Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Medication Technician / Personal Care Giver,
You will be instrumental in providing essential Resident care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring the well-being of those with a need for personal activities of daily living.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive personal care services including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and hygiene to promote independence and dignity.
- Monitor and record Medication management using EMR (Electronic Medical Record)
- Assist with medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect resident confidentiality.
- Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with aging assistant needs.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of resident care activities for seamless communication.
- Collaborate with staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal resident outcomes in community-based home care environments.
Skills:
- Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments demonstrating strong caregiving abilities.
- Familiarity with accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
- Ability to work effectively with aging individuals with disabilities or health conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
- Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with residents and collaborate seamlessly with teams.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Prior experience in personal care or memory care is highly desirable for supporting specialized resident needs.
