Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Perform electrical wiring for new construction and renovations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to complete projects
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
Skills:
- Proficient in residential electrical including new builds, remodels, additions, generators, and trouble shooting
- Extensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and ability to apply it in practice
- Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools commonly used in electrical work
- Ability to perform general maintenance person tasks related to electrical installations and repairs
- Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety protocols
- Proficiency in using power tools for various electrical tasks
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Experience with renovating electrical systems in older buildings is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
