We are seeking a dedicated Server Assistant to join our team. As a Server Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant by assisting servers and ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to guests promptly
- Set up dining areas and refill condiments as needed
- Clear tables efficiently and reset them for the next guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the dining experience
Skills:
- Experience or knowledge in food handling and food safety protocols
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and assist as needed
- Familiarity with banquet or restaurant settings is a plus
- Basic culinary knowledge to understand menu items and assist customers
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with guests
- Willingness to work collaboratively with kitchen and serving staff
- Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time and push/lift up to 50lbs
- Must be 18 years of age or older or in accordance with state law.
