Overview:
We are currently seeking a Ramp Agent to join our team. As a Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for handling fuel operations, towing of aircraft, and guiding aircraft to designated areas at our facility. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Responsibilities:
- Fueling aircraft both over wing and under wing with 100LL or Jet A
- Pushing or towing aircraft to and from designated locations in the airport
- Vacuuming and cleaning the interior of our aircraft
- Washing the exterior of our aircraft
- Answering phones when needed
- Guiding and parking aircraft to designated spots
- Greeting pilots and passengers
- Miscellaneous tasks assigned
- Billing customers
- Snow removal including shoveling and snow blowing
- Basic janitorial tasks
Qualifications:
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly
- Valid driver's license
- Must have reliable communication and transportation
-Pre-employment drug test is required
-Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
-Aviation experience is a plus but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
Schedule
Maine Instrument Flight is seeking dependable, customer-focused Ramp Agents to join our team. We operate 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week, and a Ramp Agent must be on duty at all times to support our flight operations.
Full-Time Position (40 Hours/Week)
- Schedule: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- 12.5-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Opportunity for additional hours as needed
Part-Time Position (12.5-25 Hours/Week)
- 1–2 shifts per week
- Flexible scheduling, but must be available to work weekends as needed
- Additional hours may be available to cover vacations and employee absences
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
