We are seeking a skilled Drafting Technician to join our team. As a Drafting Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans for various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD software and possess strong attention to detail. Duties:
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD / Inventor.
- Reverse engineer existing parts using measuring tools. (Calipers, Micrometers, and other measuring tools)
- Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and specifications
- Review and modify existing drawings as necessary
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all drawings
- Incorporate design changes and updates into drawings
- Perform quality checks on drawings to identify any errors or discrepancies
- Maintain organized files and documentation of all drawings
Experience:
- Proven experience in drafting or a related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / Inventor.
- Strong knowledge of drafting techniques and standards
- Experience in mechanical design is preferred
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into accurate drawings
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
