Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking bar supplies, glassware, and beverages to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including bar cleaning, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing equipment regularly.
- Buss tables and clear used dishes or glassware promptly to keep the venue tidy and inviting.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or trash disposal with safety in mind.
- Support food service operations by helping with food preparation, plating, or setup as needed.
- Use POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling, order entry, and processing payments accurately.
- Follow all food service bar safety compliance standards to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, bar experience, or restaurant roles with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong cleaning skills and knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with team members and guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cashiering and order management.
- Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus for supporting special events.
- Knowledge of food industry safety standards and beverage service protocols.
