Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Position Overview
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering complex, cross-functional projects by coordinating resources, managing schedules, and ensuring the successful achievement of defined milestones. This role requires strong project governance, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and leadership capabilities to ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation. Lead end-to-end project execution from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and delivery commitments. Track project progress against approved baselines and proactively address schedule variances. Ensure all project deliverables meet defined scope, quality, and acceptance criteria.
2. Risk & Issue Management
Identify, analyze, and document project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies. Develop and implement effective risk mitigation and contingency strategies. Monitor risks continuously throughout the project lifecycle and escalate critical issues to leadership as required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date risk and issue logs.
3. Stakeholder Management & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent, and timely communication. Gather, validate, and manage stakeholder requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives. Provide regular project status updates, including progress, risks, issues, and upcoming milestones. Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate informed decision-making.
4. Team Coordination & Collaboration
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, database administrators (DBAs), infrastructure teams, and IT support staff. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Identify and resolve conflicts promptly to maintain team alignment and momentum. Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and accountability across project teams.
5. Budget & Resource Management
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Track project expenditures and forecast costs to avoid budget overruns. Allocate and optimize resources to meet project demands and timelines. Support leadership with accurate financial and resource reporting.
6. Quality Assurance & Documentation
Ensure appropriate testing and validation activities are conducted to maintain data integrity, performance, and quality standards. Oversee quality assurance processes to confirm deliverables meet functional and technical requirements. Maintain thorough project documentation, including plans, configurations, processes, decisions, and issues encountered. Ensure documentation supports knowledge transfer, audit readiness, and future project sustainability.

Required Qualifications
Proven experience working as a Project Manager in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, risk management, and execution. Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing data-centric or system migration projects. Familiarity with formal project management methodologies and governance frameworks. Experience in enterprise or public-sector environments.
