Total compensation for the
Electrical Preconstruction Manager in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas is between $140,000 and $160,000.

Electrical Preconstruction Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the Business Development Team with proposal presentations and interviews.
- Prepare preliminary design development and construction document estimates during the preconstruction phase.
- Reach out to and foster relationships with General Contractors, Architects and Engineering Firms.
- Participation in design, VE, value analysis, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
- Assist in business development efforts to identify new work opportunities.
- Stay up to date and monitor cost trends, evaluate subcontractor proposals, assist in schedule creation, and staffing decisions.
Electrical Preconstruction Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred or equivalent related years’ experience.
- Minimum of 6+ years’ experience within electrical estimating as electrical contractor.
- Experience within successful estimates specific to large commercial and healthcare projects specific to higher-education, office buildings, hospitals and medical centers (new-build and expansions) at minimum $5M-10M+ in electrical budget estimates from conception to close out.
- Experience with Accubid and / or Conest. Knowledge of AutoCAD / Revit.
- Strong employment stability.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
