Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, knowledgeable food and beverage recommendations, and efficient order management. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for hospitality, food industry expertise, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Previous experience in fine dining or food service environments is highly valued. The Server will play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Provide guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience
- Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience in upselling, guest relations, and managing multiple tables efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Prior host/host or bussing experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail
