Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated E Commerce Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our online retail presence, driving sales, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This position requires a blend of self-motivation, retail knowledge, and effective communication abilities to optimize our e-commerce strategies and support our overall business objectives.
Duties
- Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring product listings are accurate and up-to-date.
- Utilize retail math to analyze product data and inventory levels to make informed decisions on product and stock management.
- Provide detailed descriptions to enhance customer understanding and engagement.
- Assist in collaboration with the marketing team to develop online campaigns that drive traffic and increase conversion rates.
- Assist the e-commerce team with providing guidance and support in achieving departmental goals.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding inquiries, order status, and returns through various channels.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while maintaining compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of store operations to align e-commerce operations.
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work extended hours during seasonal peaks.
- Cleaning, store recovery, setting up and maintaining displays.
- Climbing ladders to re-stock and obtain merchandise for our customers.
- Pulling, packaging and preparing online orders for shipment.
Experience
- Previous experience in an e-commerce or retail environment is a plus but not necessary.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts and their application in an online setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing.
- Basic math skills are essential for managing inventory and sales.
- A background in store operations is a plus but not required.
