About the Role
We're looking for a driven, accountable Sales & Account Manager to take full ownership of the client experience from contract through project completion. This is not a hand-off role — you'll be the face of the company once a client is on board, responsible for keeping them informed, ensuring crews deliver quality work, and building the kind of relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.

What You'll Own
- Client Relationships — Serve as the primary point of contact for clients after initial onboarding. Proactively communicate project timelines, changes, and updates to keep clients confident and satisfied.
- Sales — Identify upsell and add-on opportunities, present proposals, and close additional work with existing clients. Meet or exceed monthly revenue targets.
- Job Scheduling — Coordinate with crews and management to schedule jobs efficiently, ensuring client timelines are met and resources are used effectively.
- Quality Control — Conduct site visits and walkthroughs to ensure work meets company standards. Catch issues before the client does.
- Crew Training — Set expectations with crews on job quality, presentation, and client-site conduct. Be the standard-bearer for how work gets done.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a client-facing role in the landscaping/lawn care industry or an adjacent industry is required
- Great understanding of landscaping, lawn care, and other green industry principles, guidelines, methods, etc.
- Someone who takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do
- Strong communicator — you can deliver good news and bad news professionally
- Organized and detail-oriented; comfortable managing multiple jobs and clients simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites in the Champaign area
- A track record of owning outcomes, not just tasks
- Ability to commute to Champaign, IL 61822
- Relocation required before start date
- Authorization to Work in the United States

- 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a client-facing role in the landscaping/lawn care industry
- 3+ years of field work experience in the landscaping or lawn care industry
- Experience working in other trades adjacent to the green industry
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Some overtime during peak season
