Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Encourage resident independence while preserving dignity and respect.
- Assist with meals, hydration, and daily engagement activities.
- Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with the Wellness Director and interdisciplinary care team.
- Follow infection control procedures and community policies.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving experience in Assisted Living, Home Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, or senior care is preferred but not required.
- Current Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred or willingness to obtain one.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
