We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Fill In Cleaner (Floater) to join our dedicated facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will serve as a versatile team member, stepping into various cleaning and custodial positions across multiple locations to ensure all spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Your proactive approach and flexibility will help maintain an inviting environment for staff, clients, and visitors alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop a broad skill set in commercial cleaning.
- Perform cleaning duties across different areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces, adapting to each location’s specific needs.
- Operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, and cleaning tools to ensure optimal cleanliness.
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper procedures for mixing, application, and disposal to maintain sanitation standards.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks using safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment. Up to 50 pounds.
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with staff or costumers during cleaning routines.
- Previous porter experience or facilities maintenance background will be considered a plus for this versatile role.
