POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must be 19 years of age or older.

Ability to meet suitability criteria for employment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent

Servsafe Certification.

Two (2) years of cafeteria experience in a school or residential setting.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.

Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted and 70 lbs. with assistance.

Must be able to follow a recipe.

Must be able to perform physical requirements of position including but not limited to standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting.

Prep food items for meal service, cooking, and serving of meals to students, staff, and guests.

Wash dishes and put up dishes.
-
Keep the work area clean and hazard free.

Help maintain and clean kitchen equipment.

Follow the cleaning schedule.

Put away inventory.

Keep storage areas clean and organized.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Must attend ServSafe Food Safety training and sit for the certification exam within three (3) months of employment.

A sign language proficiency level of SURVIVAL according to the AIDB evaluation system must be obtained within the first thirty-six (36) months of employment.
