Cleveland Clinic Staffing Resources (CCFSR) gives you the opportunity to care for patients in various Critical Care, Telemetry or Emergency Department Units. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional support, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. You will cycle between multiple locations, including Weston, Martin North, Martin South and Tradition, providing another avenue through which to thrive. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system has numerous professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.
A caregiver in this position works varying shifts.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Provide patient care through the application of sound Nursing Practice procedures and practices.
- Perform accurate and complete admission assessments within defined periods.
- Assess and document patient's pain levels utilizing appropriate protocols.
- Prioritize and document patient problems based on assessed needs/problems in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
- Establish and implement plans of care in collaboration with other disciplines that promote wellness and facilitate the discharge process.
- Monitor and document patient's condition and effectiveness and timeliness of care and/or interventions.
Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH) Certification within new hire period
- Two years of recent experience in Critical Care, ED or Telemetry
