Job Overview:
Responsibilities include supporting all supply chain procedures, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation. To be successful in this role, you should be well-organized and understand the order fulfillment cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Handle trucking and freight claims
- Prepare and manage freight quotations
- Review and process freight billing/invoices
- Arrange and coordinate warehouse/DC transfers
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers
- Follow up on shipment status and carrier updates
- Maintain shipping records and documentation
- Communicate with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or freight coordination preferred
- Knowledge of LTL/FTL shipping and carrier scheduling
- Familiar with freight claims and billing processes
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Excel and logistics systems
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience:
- Freightview, NetSuite, or similar logistics systems
- Carrier appointment scheduling
- Transfer order coordination
