Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with common workplace tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and comfort working with design/communication platforms (e.g., Canva)
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with faculty, staff, and external partners
- Professional, approachable demeanor when interacting with a wide range of stakeholders

Essential Job Functions
Partner Identification & Outreach Support
- Assist in identifying and researching potential strategic partner organizations aligned with departmental priorities and program areas
- Maintain and update a centralized database of partners, prospects, and engagement activity
- Support initial outreach efforts and help track follow-up communication
Communication & Relationship Support
- Coordinate and distribute monthly communications to partners, advisory council, alumni, and stakeholders
- Help maintain consistent, professional communication that strengthens relationships over time
- Support storytelling efforts by gathering updates on student experiences, internships, and partnerships
- Support the development and maintenance of the department’s external communications and digital presence, including social media and online platforms, to effectively share updates, highlight partnerships, and strengthen engagement with external stakeholders
Program & Partner Coordination
- Help connect Program Directors and Coordinators with partner needs (e.g., internships, projects, mentorship opportunities)
- Assist in tracking partner engagement across programs to ensure alignment and visibility
- Support basic reporting on engagement activity and outcomes
Event Coordination & Support
- Provide logistical and coordination support for key events such as NEXT in Management, The Night Before NEXT, Beyond NEXT, App on Tap, Advisory Council meetings, and other partner-facing initiatives
- Support the planning and execution of Advisory Council meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, materials preparation, communication, and follow-up
- Assist with scheduling, communication, materials preparation, and on-site coordination as needed across all events and engagements
- Help ensure a high-quality, professional experience for external partners, Advisory Council members, and participants
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in higher education, business, or relationship-building work preferred.
Work Schedule/Hours
Flexible work schedule, though attendance at events and meetings (both in-person and virtual) will be required. The position is for 20 hours each week for a 10-12 month period.
