Are you a veterinary technician (licensed or not) looking for a new learning opportunity? Veterinary rehabilitation may be just what you are looking for! As a rehab technician working in our stand-alone facility, you would be responsible for performing therapies (LASER, underwater treadmill, exercise sessions), maintaining equipment, assisting our veterinarians and performing some reception duties as needed. We also have acupuncture and chiropractic on site. The whole day is focused on client and patient care (clients are often present during the 30 to 60 minute sessions) and excelling with people is as important as excelling with animals in this role. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, positive, devoted to patients, well-organized, have the ability to take initiative and possess excellent communication skills. You should be able to work well both independently and as part of a team. Training will be with our 3 rotating veterinarians and our experienced RVT who is also a Certified Companion Animal Therapist.
