Tooth Town Pediatric Dentistry in South Lyon has an opportunity for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our friendly and fun practice!

Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 - 5. No nights or weekends!
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include assisting the dentist in all aspects of patient examination and treatment, including:
- Managing and supporting pediatric patients throughout their visits
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms, instruments, and equipment
- Performing and monitoring infection control procedures
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Supporting hygiene appointments as needed
- Documenting treatment notes and maintaining accurate electronic patient records
- Taking diagnostic radiographs
- Providing pre- and post-operative instructions to patients and parents
- Educating patients and families on proper oral hygiene practices
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Experience with electronic dental records and charting systems
- Proficient computer skills, we use Dentrix
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with children and their parents in a fast-paced environment
