We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Area Community Manager to oversee multiple residential properties within a designated region. Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple residential properties, ensuring high standards of service and compliance with all regulations.
- Lead and develop property management teams, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Oversee leasing activities including lease or rental agreement management, tenant screening, and move-in/move-out processes.
- Monitor property financials, including budgeting, rent collection, and expense control to meet financial goals.
- Ensure property maintenance and facilities management are conducted promptly and effectively to maintain property value.
- Maintain thorough records of legal documentation such as contracts, lease agreements, and compliance reports.
- Utilize property management tools such as Yardi and OneSite for data entry, reporting, and client communication to streamline operations.
- Enforce Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 program guidelines to promote fair treatment for all residents.
- Handle conflict management situations with professionalism and tact to resolve tenant concerns efficiently.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, maintenance, and facility upgrades while managing budgets effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law.
- Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, and customer relationship management tools.
- Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and Fair Housing regulations.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams across multiple locations.
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills via phone etiquette and client interaction.
- Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, lease or rental agreement management, and facilities oversight.
- Legal administrative experience related to contracts and tenant relations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, filing, reporting, and correspondence purposes.
- Ability to handle conflict situations professionally while maintaining positive resident relationships.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
