No chimney experience? That's okay. We will train the right person.
If you have experience in construction, roofing, masonry, HVAC, maintenance, installation, handyman work, landscaping, or another hands-on trade, we encourage you to apply.

What You'll Do
As a Chimney Service Technician, you'll travel to customers' homes and perform chimney, fireplace, and dryer vent services, including:
- Inspecting chimneys, fireplaces, and dryer vents
- Cleaning and sweeping chimneys
- Performing chimney and fireplace repairs
- Completing minor masonry and brick repairs
- Repairing chimney crowns and repointing masonry
- Installing chimney caps, chase covers, and related products
- Working safely from ladders and rooftops
- Troubleshooting problems and recommending solutions
- Explaining services and repair options to homeowners
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean work area
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable working with their hands, and willing to learn.
You should:
- Have a valid driver's license
- Be dependable and arrive to work on time
- Be comfortable working on ladders and rooftops
- Be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds
- Be comfortable working outdoors
- Have good communication and customer service skills
- Be willing to learn new technical and trade skills
- Be comfortable discussing repair options and services with customers
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Be available for additional hours during our busy season
Previous chimney experience is NOT required.
Experience in construction, roofing, masonry, HVAC, carpentry, home improvement, maintenance, installation, or other skilled trades is a plus.

A Typical Day
This isn't a desk job.
You'll work with your hands, use tools, climb ladders, work on rooftops, inspect fireplaces and chimneys, diagnose problems, make repairs, and interact with homeowners.
Some days you'll perform inspections and chimney sweeps. Other days you'll complete repairs, masonry work, or installations.
