We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Specialist to support our manufacturing and operational teams by ensuring products and assemblies meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
Position Overview
The Production Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day manufacturing and production operations to ensure products are built efficiently, accurately, and on schedule while maintaining high quality standards. This role will oversee production planning, scheduling, inventory coordination, process improvement, team management, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, engineering, procurement, and shipping teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced in manufacturing environments, and capable of driving operational excellence in a fast-paced technology-focused organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily production and manufacturing operations to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines
- Develop and maintain production plans, workflows, and resource allocation strategies
- Coordinate with procurement, inventory, engineering, quality control, and shipping teams to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor production output, efficiency, labor utilization, and quality metrics
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors
- Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with company quality standards and customer specifications
- Oversee assembly operations for low-voltage, PoE, and smart building technology products
- Maintain accurate production records, schedules, and reporting metrics
- Assist in forecasting production capacity, staffing requirements, and material needs
- Manage and mentor production staff while promoting accountability, teamwork, and operational discipline
- Support implementation and optimization of manufacturing procedures, SOPs, and operational best practices
- Work with leadership to improve scalability, operational efficiency, and manufacturing readiness for growth
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and operational standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years of production management or manufacturing operations experience
- Strong leadership and team management experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Experience managing production schedules, inventory coordination, and operational workflows
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Experience with ERP, inventory, or manufacturing management systems preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
Preferred Experience
- Experience with electronics manufacturing, low-voltage systems, networking equipment, or PoE technologies
- Familiarity with smart building technologies, commercial lighting systems, or IoT-connected devices
- Experience implementing process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and manufacturing best practices
- Experience supporting scaling production operations in a growing technology company

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
