Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our operations. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to accurately execute projects
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system installations in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards
- Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify issues within complex industrial electrical systems and implement effective solutions
- Ensure all work adheres to electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 compliance and OSHA regulations
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance and future reference
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
Skills
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial and commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
- Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes
- Skilled in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints for accurate installation and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and testers for electrical diagnostics
- Ability to handle high-voltage wiring safely and efficiently while following all safety protocols
- Experience working on programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems in industrial environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems with a focus on safety and precision
- Construction site experience with renovation projects or new installations is highly desirable
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, power drills, conduit benders, and other essential electrical equipment
- Ability to interpret technical schematics accurately while working on diverse projects including frame carpentry or handyman tasks as needed
