What We Are Looking For
We're a growing CPA firm in Jacksonville Florida looking for a credentialed accounting professional who wants to do more than just prep returns. This role comes with real responsibility on day one and a defined path to Tax Manager within 12-18 months.
What You'll Do
Right away:
● Handle quarterly payroll return filings for a portfolio of S-Corp clients
● Prepare 1040s (with Schedule C and E), 1120-S, and 1065 returns for small and mid-size business clients
● Work directly with the firm owner on complex client matters
Within 12-18 months:
● Hand off quarterly payroll to an incoming Staff Accountant
● Review and sign off on returns prepared by junior staff
● Lead client meetings independently
● Step into the Tax Manager role
What We're Looking For
● Active CPA or EA required
● 3-5 years of public accounting or tax experience
● Comfortable with business returns — S-Corps, partnerships, sole proprietors
● QuickBooks Online experience a plus
● Strong communicator
● Genuinely wants to grow into management
● UltraTax experience is a major plus

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
