Otherlands is a long-standing Memphis coffee bar, gathering space, and live music venue with a loyal customer base and a strong local identity. We are expanding our focus on private events, community programming, catering, and venue rentals.
We are looking for someone who can help lead operations while also helping shape the future of the business.
## Responsibilities
* Oversee daily café operations
* Lead and manage staff scheduling and performance
* Maintain strong customer service standards
* Assist with hiring and training
* Help coordinate private events and venue rentals
* Monitor inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
* Improve systems and operational efficiency
* Help grow sales and profitability
* Work closely with ownership on long-term business development
## Requirements
* Minimum 3 years management experience
* Minimum 3 years food service or hospitality experience
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed
* Experience managing teams in fast-paced environments
* Self-motivated and highly dependable
* Interest in long-term growth and partnership opportunities
## Preferred Experience
* Coffee shop management
* Restaurant management
* Event venue operations
* Bar or music venue experience
* Independent business operations
