Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of all designated areas using established janitorial practices, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and environmental safety protocols.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness through routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Assist with custodial tasks such as waste disposal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold health and safety regulations.
- Safely operate transportation vehicles to escort participants to and from home as needed, ensuring timely and secure movement.
- Support healthcare-related environmental services by adhering to strict sanitation procedures that meet healthcare industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure optimal functioning and safety.
- Respond promptly to transportation requests or emergencies, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a service-oriented attitude.
Qualifications
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial cleaning environments is highly desirable but not required.
- Experience working in healthcare settings such as hospitals or clinics is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety, cleaning procedures, and environmental services.
- Strong commitment to sanitation standards, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation duties.
