Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and construction projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Manage project teams by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Develop detailed project schedules to coordinate construction timelines effectively.
- Oversee construction estimating processes and cost management to keep projects within budget while maintaining quality standards.
- Review construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and regulatory documents to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Construction site experience tools for project documentation and communication.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and construction regulations across all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress through regular site visits and inspections; manage change orders efficiently when necessary.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for senior leadership review.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong background in construction management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management.
- Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a construction management role while fostering collaboration across disciplines.
- Strong understanding of construction estimating techniques, cost management strategies, and contract administration.
- Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction plans review.
- Familiarity with heavy civil or infrastructure projects including civil 3D software applications is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, environmental compliance requirements, and permitting processes.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
